Illustration books

Siempre me ha gustado muchísimo la moda y desde que era pequeña me encanta el arte; por eso mis padres me apuntaron a clases de pintura. Este verano he descubierto que me encanta la ilustración de moda. Aprovechando el tiempo libre, he encontrado en Internet varios libros muy interesantes de ilustración de moda.

Mi idea es publicar cuatro o cinco posts recomendando algunos de los libros de ilustración de moda que más me han gustado (sin orden de preferencia). El primero se llama " Fashion source: Poses", es de la editorial Page One y se puede encontrar en Amazon y en Bookdepository. Contiene alrededor de 300 páginas con diferentes poses.

I have always loved fashion and since I was a kid and joined painting classes my passion for art grew. This summer I have realised I really love fashion illustration, and, thanks to my free time, I have found very interesting fashion books.


I plan to publish four or five posts with different books. The first one is called "FASHION SOURCE:POSES" and is published by Page One. It is available at Amazon and Bookdepository. It contains about 300 poses as pretty as this ones:

Os quiero hablar hoy de una ilustradora americana y de su precioso trabajo. Se llama Inslee Haynes y es ilustradora de moda. Se graduó en Washington & Lee University y su pasión ha sido siempre dibujar. Podéis ver todos sus dibujos en su página web y en su blog. ¡Merecen la pena! Y seguirla en twitter, facebook y linkedin.

Además, diseña tarjetas personalizadas, vende calendarios... Y  ha diseñado las ilustraciones de la página web de Cream New York, una boutique del Upper East Side de Nueva York que ofrece servicios de personal shopper, sastrería y ayuda en la búsqueda del mejor outfit para eventos.

I would like to talk to you about an American illustrator named Inslee Haynes.Her passion has always been drawing and she has become really popular with her wonderful and elegant fashion illustrations made by hand with water colors.

I have made 4 sets using some of her drawings. You can find ALL of her fabulous illustrations on her website, her blog, and follow her on twitter, facebook, or linkedin.


If you are interested in finding out more about her work, the best way is reading her blog. I found out that she has designed all of the pictures of Cream New York´s website, a boutique settled in the Upper East Side of New York that offers the following services: personal shopper, tailoring and other services related to fashion.
