<h1> Pina </h1>

"PINA- Tanzt, tanzt sonst sind wir verloren" (Dance, dance, otherwise we are lost) is a German film directed by Wim Wenders and produced by Jeremy Thomas starring Pina Bausch.

Pina Bausch (1940-2009) was a really talented ballet director, and one of the best choreographers of the twentieth century.

Her work has been recognized worldwide, she has been awarded many prizes and this film includes four of her best dance pieces: " Le sacre du printemps", "Café Müller", "Kontakthof" and "Vollmond". We can also see interviews and other fantastic choreographies. Unfortunately she died before the film came out.


This film was presented at the Berlinale Talent Campus and has been nominated as Best Foreign Language Film at the 84th Academy Awards, presented on the 26th February 2012 at the Kodak Theatre in the Hollywood district of Los Angeles. You can see all the films submitted here.
