I love the editorial published in the latest edition of Harper's Bazaar UK Magazine, August 2012. I made a set inspired on the equestrian look Miranda Kerr is wearing. The items I chose are not exactly the same, but similar (find details below).
Gustav Klimt is one of my favourite painters. He was born on July 14, 1862 and today is the 150 anniversary of his birth. He was an Austrian Symbolist painter, whose distinctive sign was to apply layers of gold leaf to his paintings.
While I was living in Vienna, I had the opportunity to visit the Österreichische Galerie Belvedere in the Belvedere Palace, where a lot of paintings of Klimt can be found, and I could see his masterpiece "The Kiss", one of my favourite paintings. I honestly have no words to describe it, I spent a lot of time in front of the painting and kept discovering new details... It's really amazing.

I love the gown Blake Lively wore for the World Premiere of Savages (June, 25) at the Mann Village in Westwood, L.A. She looks stunning!!! For those of us who follow her style on the screens (Gossip Girl) but also out of them, we weren't surprised of her amazing choice! Everything looks just perfect: hairstyle, make-up, accessories and gown.
I recommend you to visit the homepage of the movie, directed by Oliver Stone. You can find a lot of information regarding the story, cast, and also pictures and videos. Blake Lively talks about Savages on this brief interview:
For the Premiere of "Savages" in New York, she wore a yellow dress designed for her by Gucci. She chose this colour as an ode to her first meeting with Oliver Stone. According to Blake: " I came in, in a yellow dress and we were talking about who the caracter should be [...] and he said 'She needs to be THIS girl! This bright, hopeful, yellow girl, the sunshine girl".
"We are citizens of all you can see. You'll find everything you didn't know."
H&M has launched its fifth Fashion Against Aids collection. The aim of this initiative is to raise funds and create awareness about HIV / AIDS among youth. According to the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention), "young people aged 13-29 accounted for 39% of all new HIV infections in 2009" (see graphic). Visit CDC's homepage for more information.

I think this kind of initiatives coming from companies are very positive for the society, and that it's very important to raise awareness among young people.
The collection is inspired on the tribal style. Clothes with different tribal patterns and ethnic influences from all over the world are now available at H&M stores. 25% of the sales would go directly to international youth HIV/AIDS awareness projects. Some of my favourite items are:
Bikini: top (7.95€), bottom (7.95€)
Bustier 19.95€
Necklace 12.95€
Necklace 12.95€
iPhone case 2.95€
You can also support this initiative by uploading a picture to http://campaign.hm.com/faa2012/.
For each picture, H&M will donate $1.
