Berlin is fashion

A lot is happening in Berlin this week. On Tuesday started the Bread & Butter Show in the old airport Berlin Tempelhof and the Berlin Fashion Week (15.01. - 20.01.)

Street fashion is the main focus at Bread & Butter. From classic and sophisticated looks to more edgy styles- Every style is welcome. Innovative streetwear and urbanwear looks can be found at Bread & Butter, with six hundred exhibitors from the sectors of denim, sportswear, street fashion, casual dressed up and function wear. Here you can find all the brands at the show.

Vogue Spain: Kate Moss and Mario Testino

The last number of the year of the spanish edition of fashion magazine Vogue pays tribute to Spain with a beautiful photoshoot carried out by Mario Testino, brilliant fashion photographer who has been able to capture the best shoots since he moved to London during the 80s.

Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2012

The price of this item is $2.5 million, and has been designed exclusively for Victoria's Secret by well-known London Jewelers. Rosie Hungtington-Whiteley is my favourite model. Styled by Anne-Marie Curtis, she appears on the cover of the September issue of Elle UK.

English model and actress Rosie Alice Hungtington-Whiteley is one of the best-dressed women in the world. She was named "Style icon" at the Elle Style Awards 2012, where she wore an Antonio Berardi dress with Sergio Rossi heels. She is a Victoria's Secret angel since 2009, but started modeling for the lingerie company in 2006.

On the editorial "The power of Rosie" she looks stunning! Photographed by David Vasiljevic, amazing looks are shown with elegance, sensuality and also naturalness. You can watch the video of the cover shoot on Elle UK.

I love the editorial published in the latest edition of Harper's Bazaar UK Magazine, August 2012. I made a set inspired on the equestrian look Miranda Kerr is wearing. The items I chose are not exactly the same, but similar (find details below).

Fantastic hair

My three choices of the week have to do with having fantastic hair:

❶Maryna Linchuk for Vogue Russia May 2012:

Maryna Linchuk (04.09.1987) is a Belarusian blonde fashion model. She was declared one of the top 30 models in the 2000s, and debuted on the Victoria's Secret fashion show in 2008.
On this editorial, named "How I met your mother" (Vogue Russia May 2012), she poses for photographer Alexi Lubomirski (I love his work, by the way).
I love how her hair moves, and the outfits (the items belong to the spring collections of Nina Ricci, Burberry Prorsum, Azzedine Alaïa...). My favourite pictures from the editorial are:

I love this fashion editorial for Marie Claire Hong Kong. It's so ballet-inspired!
Speaking of what, I went yesterday to the Cinderella Ballet in the Leipzig Opera! It was really beautiful, well-performed and truly inspiring. I will tell you about it this week, I promise!

The model on the pictures is Simone Doreleijers,a professional fashion model born in the Netherlands. She was photographed by Paul Bellaart and styled by Anouk van Griensven.

La modelo que protagonizó el editorial de Noviembre de la revista Marie Claire Hong Kong se llama Simone Doreleijers, una modelo profesional nacida en Holanda. El fotógrafo es Paul Bellaart, reputado fotógrafo de moda afincado en Amsterdam, y la estilista es Anouk van Griensven.

Y qué decir de esta sesión de moda... además de que me encanta. Creo que cada foto es perfecta: cada estilismo, cada pose y cada peinado. Todo está perfectamente cuidado. Todo el protagonismo recae en la modelo y en las prendas, y el fondo simplemente nos lleva a un estudio de ballet, diáfano, con espejos, tutús y barras. Pensando en mis clases de ballet,a las que iba de pequeña, y en el fabuloso ballet "Cinderella" al que fui el viernes, he creado este collage. ¡Espero que os guste!

¿Qué ocurre?

Abercrombie & Fitch inaugura su esperadísima tienda mañana en Madrid. Y como no podía ser de otra forma, su carta de presentación en la capital han sido sus modelos masculinos. 101 modelos han posado para las cámaras y han llamado la atención de todos los peatones y conductores que pasaban por la zona.
