The sixth and last season of Gossip Girl starts tomorrow, October 8th at 9 p.m. on CW!!!

If you haven't watched this show yet, I highly recommend it to you! Not only because of the plot and the characters, but also their wardrobes. It might sound silly, I know, but I am a total fan of Eric Daman, the man behind the wardrobe closet of this show.

I think he styles perfectly the New York look, and I love this style above all. On an interview with the New York editor of Refinery29 Annie Georgia Greenberg, we was asked if he took inspiration from real New Yorkers when he styles these "fake" New Yorkers (referring to Blair Waldorf, Serena van der Woodsen, Chuck Bass, Dan Humphrey, Nate Archibald and the rest of the cast)?
He answered "New York itself is just such a great inspiration.[...] I think kind of why the show has, you know, such a trendful impact and it's different than other shows, is that we are New York and I've been in New York for fifteen years and I've always been kind of passionate about New York fashion and how people really do get dressed up and really have their own style. And it's just, every time I walk down the street I ger inspired by something".

Emmy-winning costume designer Eric Daman has worked with Patricia Field on "Sex and the city" and recently co-hosted Fashion's Night Out [#FNO] with Vera Wang in New York City.
For all "Sex and the City"- fans: As you may know, he is also the stylist for the show Carrie Diaries, the CW's 80s-set "Sex and the City" prequel that will have its premiere in January 2013. Here is a trailer of the show, featuring AnnaSophia Robb as a young Carrie Bradshaw:

My favourite character of this Upper East Side Show is Blake Lively as Serena van der Woodsen, that recently got married to Ryan Reynolds, ex-husband of Scarlett Johansson. Congrats!

I love the gown Blake Lively wore for the World Premiere of Savages (June, 25) at the Mann Village in Westwood, L.A. She looks stunning!!! For those of us who follow her style on the screens (Gossip Girl) but also out of them, we weren't surprised of her amazing choice! Everything looks just perfect: hairstyle, make-up, accessories and gown.

For the Premiere of "Savages" in New York, she wore a yellow dress designed for her by Gucci. She chose this colour as an ode to her first meeting with Oliver Stone. According to Blake: " I came in, in a yellow dress and we were talking about who the caracter should be [...] and he said 'She needs to be THIS girl! This bright, hopeful, yellow girl, the sunshine girl".

Our favourite Upper East Siders (I'm talking about Gossip Girl's cast, of course) celebrated last Saturday their 100 episodes with a fabulous party at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.

Hace unos días empezó el rodaje en París de la quinta temporada de la serie Gossip Girl, que se estrena el 13 de septiembre en EEUU. Algunos de los estilismos que más me han gustado los llevan mis favoritas, Leighton Meester y Blake Lively, a la que podemos ver en la gran pantalla como compañera de reparto de Ryan Reynolds en la película "Linterna verde" (Green Lantern), estrenada en EEUU el 17 de junio y que se estrenará en España el 29 de julio.

A few days ago started the shooting of the fifth season of Gossip Girl,and I wanted to show you some of my favourite outfits, worn by my favourite leading actresses, Leighton Meester and Blake Lively, that appears with Ryan Reynolds in Green Lantern.
By the way, the fifth season's premiere of GG starts on Monday 26th September on CWTV.
